Welcome Maine Educators!

Join these FREE educator training sessions and discover how to successfully teach personal finance in your middle or high school classroom. 

This training is provided in partnership with the Maine Jumpstart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy, its sponsors,  the Finance Authority of Maine (FAME), the Office of the Maine State Treasurer, Champlain College Center for Financial Literacy, NextGen Personal Finance and is made available thanks to a generous grant from an anonymous donor.

This ON-DEMAND virtual training is offered by Champlain College, in partnership with the Maine Jumpstart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the financial knowledge of Maine citizens, with a special focus on pre-K through college students, including adult learners. Working collaboratively, the Coalition seeks to increase awareness and provide training and support to Maine educators while also promoting educational resources and fostering communication among agencies and individuals who provide financial education to Maine families.  

Receive up to 7 hours of Professional Development training at your convenience over a 65-day period.

The first 100 educators to complete the 7 hours of training will receive a $50 Amazon gift card.*

Professional development credit** will be awarded for each session completed (you may attend as many as you like).

*You must be a classroom teacher within the state of Maine to be eligible for the Amazon gift card. 
** Your gift card and certificate of completion will be sent to you no later than mid-January 2023.
